Dover Shores Baptist Church began over 60 years ago. At one point, hundreds of people came and the church thrived. As years passed, the church experienced significant decline. A number of faithful people did all they could to keep the church going. Their perseverance and faith paid off.
In February 2023, the church called Danny Strickland to be the Lead Pastor. Since then, we are experiencing a remarkable revitalization. More and more people are coming and joining with us. We now have a growing children’s ministry and our youth ministry is also beginning. It’s an exciting time for our church.
When you come visit us, come casual. No need to dress up. We are not here to impress anyone. We are here to build relationships and community and experience what it means to know God and experience His love. Our services feature blended style worship, leaning more towards contemporary. You will also find the messages to be very life-applicable and relevant.
We are praying for God to send us people with a desire to be a part of something great, a church that will love people like Jesus does and yet, feel like a family.
